Sedona, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome Basin State Park
Total 12 nights or join up for part of the trip. Totally up to you where you would like to meet up with us.
I have purchased my flight on Delta departing Atlanta on 04/07/2021 at 2:22pm and arriving in Phoenix, AZ at 3:15pm.
Returning on 04/19/2021 departing Phoenix at 1:40pm arriving back in Atlanta at 8:25pm. If you are wanting to share car rentals, you will need to arrive by the time my flight arrives in Phoenix or you will make your own private arrangements to Sedona and for the duration of the trip.
I have hotel rooms booked for each stop. You will make your own air & car rental reservations. Some parks will also require a permit and fees to enter the park. When you book I will give you my flight information if you would like to arrive and depart on the same flights.
Credit cards will only be charged for first night of arrival in Sedona. All other hotel nights will not be charged until arrival at your hotel. All hotel rooms must be booked through me if you want to be a part of this group.

Leg #1 – Sedona, AZ (Nights of April 7, 8, 9

April 7: Fly into Phoenix or Flagstaff and drive to Sedona (2 hours from Phoenix or 40 minutes from Flagstaff). Stay in hotel 3 nights.
April 8: Morning hike: Devil’s Bridge Trail – 4.2 miles. Afternoon hike: Fay Canyon 2.4 miles easy
April 9: Morning hike West Fork Trail – 6.9 miles. It’s in and out, so can hike as far as you would like before turning around.
April 10: Morning hike on Mescal Trail – 2.4 miles. Checkout and drive to Grand Canyon (2 hours)
Leg #2 – Williams, AZ Grand Canyon (Nights of April 10, 11, 12)

April 10: For those just joining the adventure, fly into Las Vegas (4 hour drive), Phoenix (3-1/2 hour drive), or Flagstaff (1-1/2 hour drive). Stay in hotel on south rim 3 nights
April 11: Explore the Rim Trail – easy hike with minimum elevation change. Great views of the canyon. Can walk as little or as much as desired. Trail is 11 miles but can easily break up into 1-mile segments. Some may want to hike into the canyon from the south rim. It’s a significant change in elevation, but worth the experience.
April 12: Hiking at Schmutz Springs (5.5 miles – moderate level – in and out, so can hike a limited distance then turn around if desired)
April 13: Drive to Page Arizona – 111 miles (2+ hours)
Leg #3 - Page, Arizona (Nights of April 13, 14, 15)

April 13: Check into hotel for 3 nights (near Lake Powell and Hover Dam)
April 14: Explore Dam and take boat ride down Colorado River ($70-$234)
April 15: Explore Antelope Canyon ($60-$70). The photograph tours are temporarily unavailable due to the COVID-19 virus, but hopefully will be open before April. Also nearby is the Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River, which is majestic and offers some of the best photo opportunities. Both are easy walking.
April 16: Check out of hotel and drive 1 hour to Coyote Butts, which is on the way towards Bryce Canyon. The hike is 5.2 miles round trip in and out. Leg #4 - Bryce Canyon City, Utah (Nights of April 16, 17, 18)

April 16: Check in.
April 17: Trails are classified as easy, moderate or strenuous. The easy ones range from 1 to 11 miles with little elevation change. The moderate trails range from 1.3 to 4.3 miles. I recommend the tower Bridge trail (3.5 miles). There is also an excellent viewing location for early morning sun hitting the formations. It is absolutely worth getting up early for!
April 18: Panorama Trail in the Kodachrome Basin State Park - Utah - 23 miles away. 2.9-mile loop or 6 mile loop. Easy to moderate levels.
April 19: Check out.
