Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi, Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam! Get picked up at the airport upon arrival and transfer to the downtown of Hanoi for hotel check-in. Boasted as one of the liveliest and loveliest cities in Asia, Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam. The city is home of tree-lined boulevards characterized by yellow painted colonial buildings, the Old Quarter with a maze of narrow streets where you can get lost among thousands of colorful shops, traditional guilds, ancient temples & food venues.

Day 2 Hanoi sightseeing.
08:30am We meet in the lobby of the hotel. We will head out to exploring some of the major beautiful sites this city: Drive through bustling streets lined with French colonial style structures on your way to the nation’s capital, including the parliament, party house, the president's house, and the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh – the founding father of Vietnam.
09:00am - 10:00am: Take a leisurely walk-through tranquil carp-filled ponds and well-tended gardens leading to Uncle Ho’s house on stilts, where "Uncle Ho" once lived & nearby One Pillar Pagoda – significant as it was part of the founding of Hanoi as Vietnam’s Capital in 1049. These two structures have symbolic significance for Vietnam and in particular Hanoians.
Take a walk on the bank of Westlake to take some nice pictures, then visit Tran Quoc pagoda, which is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists. The pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam.
11:00am – 11:30am Visit Temple of Literature: Explore the incredible compound, which was constructed in 1076. Hear the stories of the buildings history and get a glimpse into the past when it served as a university as well as a temple to educate Vietnam’s royalty and members of the elite known as mandarins. We will then drive to the old quarter for lunch at a local food stall to try ‘Bun Cha’ for lunch.
This afternoon, learn about the French/Vietnamese war and the
American/Vietnam war by exploring the Hoa Lo Prison & Museum. Once nicknamed the “Hanoi Hilton” by American prisoners of war, it was built by the French as a prison to hold Vietnamese political prisoners.
Later in the day you will take a leisurely walking tour for sightseeing of the Hanoi Old Quarter and enjoy a food tasting tour for some of Hanoi’s specialties. End the tour with a cup of Hanoi special egg coffee in a hundred years old family shop.

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay cruise (joined tour)
08:30am Get picked up from hotel and leave Hanoi for a 3-hour drive to the pier where you board the boat for cruise on spectacular Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay.
11:30am - 12:00pm Check-in at Paradise Suites Hotel - Tuan Chau Island.
12:00pm - 12:30pm You will be transferred to the pier to embark on Paradise Grand cruise by a 5- star speedboat.
12:30 The speedboat will take you to board Paradise Grand cruise.
12:45 The cruise manager conducts a short briefing about your cruise itinerary and safety regulations while you enjoy your welcome drink aboard the Paradise Grand cruises.
1:00pm Buffet lunch will be served in the La Espacia Restaurant while Paradise Grand cruises to the islands and islets of stunning Lan Ha Bay.
2:30pm - 4:30pm The first destination is Viet Hai village. You can explore the majestic landscapes and the simple life of local villagers by going cycling, walking, or electric car. You will also visit a fish farm and bee houses, an ancient houses and experience fish pond foot massage.
4:30pm - 5:30pm Take your time to contemplate the beauty of Lan Ha Bay or alternatively or treat yourself to a delicious afternoon tea in the Piano Lounge or indulge yourself in Spa Treatment (additional cost).
5:30pm - 7:00pm At sundown, Paradise Grand Cruises will anchor overnight. This is the perfect time for you to enjoy Happy Hour and a cooking class on the notable Vietnamese dish while being serenaded by a live music performance by Philippines band at L'Odyssée Sundeck or Piano Lounge.
7:15pm Dinner is served in La Espacia Restaurant.
9:00pm - 11:00pm Indulge yourself at Piano Lounge with a nice glass of wine*, try squid fishing at the back of the boat or enjoy fantastic movies with our large screen in Le Piano Lounge. Due to cruising conditions, itineraries may change without prior notice.

Day 4 Cruising Halong bay – Ninh Binh
06:30am - 07:00am Your second day onboard Paradise Grand with a Tai Chi session on sundeck as the sun rises.
07:00am - 07:30am Re-energize yourself in a light breakfast with some freshly baked pastries, coffee, and tea in the restaurant.
07:30am - 08:30am Your last trip stop is the magnificent Dark and Bright Cave; you will be transported there by locals rowing bamboo boats.
08:30am Back on board, breakfast will be served as we once again cruise back to the harbor.
09:30am - 10:00am After breakfast, you may enjoy your remaining moments at Piano Lounge or on sundeck looking at the astonishing view of Lan Ha Bay.
10:15am - 10:30am After disembarking from Paradise Grand, you will be transferred on a speedboat to return to Tuan Chau Marina. Meet your guide and driver and transfer to Ninh Binh (3 hrs driving). Arrival, Visit the site of Vietnam's first capital, Hoa Lu. Here you will visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). The ancient Hoa Lu Citadel, most of which has since been destroyed, once covered an area of three-square kilometers.

Day 5 Ninh Binh Karst Landscape - Flight to Danang - Transfer to Hotel
09:00 Taking a boat excursion (2.5 hrs) in Ngo Dong River in Trang An complex - a must-do activity in Ninh Binh, as it is the highlight of the journey. While you ride a bamboo boat through grottos filled with stunning stalactites, you'll be able to take in the breathtaking scenery. 1:30pm: Transfer (2.5 hrs) to the airport in Hanoi for flight from Hanoi to Danang – gateway to Hoian
6:20pm When arriving at Danang airport, we will transfer (40 minutes) to Hoi An – a UNESCO World Heritage town, built 400 years ago as an important Asian port town.
7:30pm Check in to your hotel and relax! Breakfast is included.
Day 6 Hoi An Best Day - City & countryside - Cooking demonstration class
We’ll start our day visiting historic cultural sites.
09:00am Transfer to Cam Thanh village, hopping in a round basket boat and moving through the river communities & coconut water way which was the lair of Viet Cong during the war and listen to the story about the history of the land.
We'll also visit Taboo Bamboo Workshop, a local bamboo artisan shop, and meet Mr. Tan, who'll share with you the importance and value of bamboo in Vietnamese culture. Later, we visit a farmer’s house in Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village. Joining the farmer to learn and to practice the traditional farming ways in preparing the land. Cooking some of the famous local dishes including Banana Flower Salad, Local Fresh Spring Rolls or “Tam Hữu”, and Local Rice-Pancakes or “Bánh Xèo” with the instruction of the farmer's family.
After the class we transfer to Thanh Ha pottery village, where you can explore the village's temple, museum with changing exhibits, and even try your hand at pottery-making. Return to Hoi An town by boat along the Thu Bon river. Enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An ancient town, exploring featured sights of the town.

Day 7 Hoi An - Danang sightseeing - Hue Royal City discovery
09:00am Check out of the hotel and transfer to Hue. On the way, there will be several stops for exploration and photo opportunities, including Marble Mountain, Dragon Bridge, Love Lock Bridge, China Beach, and the scenic Hai Van Pass. Arrive by noon and enjoy lunch at a garden restaurant, where you'll have the opportunity to taste authentic Hue cuisine.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour to visit Hue's Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City. Built between 1804 and 1830, this complex served as the home of the Nguyen Dynasty's kings, who ruled Vietnam from 1802 to 1945. The citadel, constructed in a similar style to the Forbidden Palace in China, was a self-contained village. Although many of the buildings were damaged during the country's wars, the remaining structures still reflect the grandeur and ceremonial splendor of Vietnam's royal past. After the tour,

Day 8 Day 8: Hue – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City
08:30am Check out of Hue hotel, Then proceed to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda and symbol of Hue with its 7 storey Phuoc Duyen tower. After that, visit to one of the Emperor Mausoleums, an eternal resting house for Emperor, special architecture in Hue, part of Hue's World Heritage and built-in line with the Royal Citadel according to strict Feng Shui principles. We say “hẹn gặp lại” to Hue as we get on a plane again and take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, a city that has a combination of ancient and modern architecture. After arrival, We’ll start these explorations by visiting some of the well-known architectural beauties this city has to offer including: War Remnants Museum.
There is no better way to get a feel for the city than walking its streets and learning its history! Reunification Hall (photo stop) Formerly known as the Presidential Palace, explore the building that the North Vietnamese army seized by driving tanks through the front gate on April 30, 1975 as Saigon fell, signifying the end of the Vietnam War. Walk the streets of Ho Chi Minh City for the perfect introduction to this busy and bustling city. We’ll walk to see the most famous colonial spots in the city: Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly called Rue Catinat), the Continental Hotel, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral.

Day 9 Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Discovery - Farewell dinner
08:30am Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River.
Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Arrive at Thoi Son Island (Unicorn Island), the largest island in the area. Wander through an orchid garden, marvel at the vibrant orchid flowers, and visit a local bee farm to enjoy freshly brewed honey tea.
Discover the fascinating process of chocolate production at a local workshop. Continue to Ben Tre Province to visit a traditional coconut candy workshop, where you can see how this local specialty is made. Take a ride on a tuk-tuk along the peaceful village roads, surrounded by lush greenery and the charm of rural life. Relax at a local farmhouse, savor fresh tropical fruits, and immerse yourself in the melodies of traditional music performed by local artists.
Hop on a hand-rowed sampan and gently glide through the serene canals lined with water-coconut palms, soaking in the tranquility of the countryside. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Continue with an exciting ride on motor cart (or bicycle) along shady paths, pass by coconut forest, green rice fields and vegetable plains. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those that can’t join the cycling trip. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
